I agree with BuckeyeGoon. Does Washington return a lot of talent on the offense? How about defense?

I think what it all will come down to is special teams. Close games usually always come down to special teams. If we can hit some field goals, punt the ball deep, and get good field position we'll be fine.

We'll see a good amount of Tressel Ball in this game and I'm fine with that. Our offensive line will come around in the nick of time.

I was just skimming Washington's schedule... They have 7 games against ranked teams. 3 of those in the top 10

They are going to make a case

For a BCS birth with a decent showing against those teams. That should be interesting especially if USC loses any, which I think they can/will. Is UW the 2nd best Pac 10 team?

don't forget about UCLA and Cal.

    IMO, the pac-10 goes Cal->USC->Oregon->Washington->UCLA

    I would go

Cal, UW, Oregon, USC, (I think they are overrated, and they didn't look good at all in that first game of the year. Eager to see what they do this week.)
    Than UCLA.

And I think that Cal, UW, and Oregon are really to close to call.

    I agree with San Diego:

No way is UW the 2nd best team in the PAC 10. USC is still the class of the league, with Cal, UCLA, and Oregon behind. Washington, with continued improvement, can jump up into that league next year. For now, I'd say we need to watch that painful tape of the National Title game for a little more on Tim Tebow, who looks very similar in style to this frosh QB Wash. has

    I disagree

I think USC, and UCLA are overrated this year. (at least until I see USC again) and I really think Cal, Oregon, and UW are to close to call.

Is Washington's offense similar to that of Oregon's?

I believe they have a running QB, that is all I know. Tyrone Willingham is there, and I don't recall what he does on the offensive side of the ball.

If we can't catch their QB when he runs it, then we might as well give up. He is slow and doesn't have much of an arm. Blitz all day I say.

I wouldn't say insane. They just looked insane agaisnt a insanely bad TSUN defense. Oregon is definately good, but not great. Probably the 4th best team in the Pac-10.

I partially agree with Oregon finishing 2nd. I have a hunch that Cal is going to take the Pac-10. With USC and Oregon being 2nd or 3rd. I've been burnt by picking Cal before, but I really like their team this year.

USC, I think USC is 3 or 4 at this point, it will go Cal, Oregon, USC, UW, UCLA, and so on. In my opinion.... And Oregon might have enough confidience to finish first. I expect 2 loses from USC this year, the first one coming Sat.

    What?!

I don't see any way USC finished any other place than 1st in the Pac-10. They are a really good team and their defense is what will stop Oregon and Cal.

As far as Oregon finishing 2nd? I think they have a good shot at that. I like Oregon's spread style of offense. They won't finish 1st though.

We shall see. I just don't think USC is anywhere near the #1 team in the country. Not from what I have seen. I think they have 2 losses in them.
