John and Annie Glenn
It was really neat watching John Glenn be honored during the halftime show... He and Annie were honored with dotting the "i" of a Script America as the band played God Bless America. One Buckeyes game, two dotted "i's"... good stuff.
Also... Coach Knight got about a 60-75 second Standing Ovation during the halftime presentation of the Ohio State HOF 2012 Class... I thought this was very cool considering he was an "enemy" as HC at Indiana for so many years, we still love our Buckeye alums.
Shazier should be singled out, he cost us a touchdown because he had a mental lapse and forgot to see what you hit and then wrap up. He actually played a part in the 60+ yard TD also. I don't have a problem with what the other guy said about Shazier, yeah he played a good game, he also made some stupid mistakes. Learn from your mistakes and move on. Athletes are going to get criticized. In High school (small town) I had a write up during basketball season after a particularly poor game I had and the write up said "I" let my team down. That hit me right between the eyes, but you know what, sometimes the truth hurts a little bit. Move on, grow stronger and play better. Criticism is what makes good players great and average players bad. You have to be willing to let those critics bash you, and you have to be willing to put in the extra time to make sure you prove them wrong. Some players respond positively, and the others play for Michigan LOL!
