A nugget about the upcoming OSU opponent: Tulsa's head coach was the QB coach of Bryce Petty, RGIII, Kevin Kolb, and Case Keenum.— Lori Schmidt (@LoriSchmidt) September 5, 2016
Tulsa's QB is pocket passer with very little threat to run. I wouldn't be shocked to see Ohio State end up with 6 or 7 sacks in this game and 2 or 3 picks. I see the score being something like 59-10
I love that Meyer is holding this team to such a high standard. Going out of his ways to highlight mistakes that only someone looking for them would find. this team is going to be dangerous
I have two primary concerns with this team at the present..... 1. defensive line 2. offensive line I was not impressed with either in the first game......we need the young pups to grow up and that will take time..... Not sure we can go into Oklahoma and win without the d-line playing significantly better........
I understand and share your concern with the DLine...However, I thought the OLine looked really good week 1. Better than I had thought they would. Mike Weber could have rushed for over 200 yards had he broken about three shoestring tackles. Barrett never got touched. And the unit didn't give up a single tfl. Imo, can't have nearly 800 yards of total offense if the OLine doesn't play well.
