i dont know about you guys, but i thought robbie looked terrible at QB today. i think this was his chance to show what he can do but i think henton has passed him now. henton played good in the one play he was a part of. robbie's passes were putrid and throwing like that isnt gonna get him anywhere. it think we are gonna start seeing some some henton and less robbie from now on. anyways, boeckman, henton, freshman, WR, TE, and D played good. both wells played bad and D liine has room for improvement but things are looking good. this is the year boys. the question was going to be wether boeckman could do OK at QB and he excelled. buckeyes are looking for a return to the championship.
P.S. cant wait to watch USC fall to Idaho 2nite:biggrin:

Kindof a boring game. But what did we expect. Good to see the good guys come out on top. I also agree robbie looked not so good today. I would like to see henton get more playing time to see what he can do. Boeckman played great today. Kindof disappointed in beanie and mo. We need that running game to be strong. Oh well not going to be disappointed when we got a W. Cant wait for next week.

Boeckman looked exactly like I expected, I was very impressed and I hope he stays healthy and remains our starter. I wasn't very happy when we took him out in the second quarter.

I don't know how you can be disappointed with Beanie. Not many backs would be able to gain good yardage when you have 5-6 guys tackling you. If anyone I would put heat on the o-line. They were getting pushed back which is unacceptable.

Really, both? I was disappointed in Beanie, but Mo Wells surprised me a little.

mo wells needs to break more tackles. he always goes down after the first contact. if he could stay on his feet after he gets hit and break a tackle or 2 he could be great. but i wasnt impressed

How did Jenkins do against YSU. They only completed 11 passes for less than 100 yards, so I assume our pass D was solid. But in the Dispatch he wasn't listed as having any tackles. So how did he do?

^^^^exactly. i waited the entire game just to see saine return a punt or kickoff and neihter happened. maybe they are trying to keep him as a secret weapon that they didnt want to release yet

Jenkins has developed as a defensive back to the point that teams are throwing away from him. That is how good he is becoming. YSU knew it, and stayed away from him for the bulk of the game.
