We're losing either Burrow or Haskins. Neither are going to stay when they can leave and be a starter

Haskins or Burrow? If Haskins starts will he be one and done (Pending 2018 results)? Ditto for Burrow. Where would either transfer to?
Baldwin is in the pipeline...future recruit(s) to reload with? At least the Bucks have a loaded depth chart (Offense and Defense). It would be nice if all stay...I don’t see it though.

I dont think it'd be in either players best interest to leave after only starting 1 year regardless how well they do. JMO.

Agree 100%! However external influences sometimes win.

I understand that extenuating circumstances may arise that make players decide to stay or go. Perhaps too early and that's okay, not everyone is going to walk the same path. I think QBs are different.. NFL teams don't typically like drafting inexperienced QBs high, let alone inexperienced QB's that leave early.

    My prediction....

    Haskins is the starter.
    Martell is utilized in packages.
    Burrow transfers.

Haskins is the right move. He can play for us for the next 2-3 yrs, and has the higher upside. I think he’s going to own a few of JTs passing records when all is said and done.

Agree but I think he is a 2 year starter. Leaving early.

I just wish Urb would tailor the offense to whoever wins. Is it a Haskins then less QB read.. or keep it but give it to the back more often than not as an off tackle handoff, keeping it at times when the defense isn't honest.

After much thought, I’ve come back to what I feel is best, which is Haskins starting and getting 80-90% of the reps, with a Martell package of about 7-10 plays per game.

I just feel that those two give Ohio State such a dynamic offense that would put up tons of points! Like @AZBuckeye mentioned, there’s not going to be one guy rack up crazy numbers this year. But with the number of weapons that we have, the only way we don’t have a top three offense nationally, is if Urban screws it up, or injuries.

This year is going to be a lot of fun! And to be honest, this might just be Urban’s best and most complete team he’s ever had when it’s all said and done.

Based on results from the fall (Burrow 2nd team until hand injury)...combined with spring game results...my preference was Joe B., however when called upon against scum Haskins nailed it. If you have 2 QB's you don't have one...it is now Haskins team!

to me the difference was the game against TTUN. No matter what Joe did during practice and spring, it was just too much to overcome. Haskins would have had to lay a giant egg for Burrow to have a legit shot. I wish best to Joe.

Looking ahead, IF, and a giant one at that. IF Haskins can put together an outstanding year, he could easily leave and be a first round pick. Next year's QB class isn't very impressive

I think Haskins will start for the next two years, and we're going to see Grant Gunnell compete for the starting spot after redshirting his Freshman year. I find it really odd that Urban hasn't been able to close on a top ranked passer since coming to Ohio State. I think Ryan Day changes that by grabbing Gunnell this season.

Haskins, like most QB's will need 2 solid seasons at the college level (Power 5). I hope you are correct and he stays 2 years...don't need someone or people in his ear telling him to leave if he has one good year.
