2016-2017 Men's Basketball Discussion...

I forgot that Archie Miller played at NC State...Is it a foregone conclusion that he will be their next coach?

He was at the top of my list and I know @OSUBasketballJunkie list as well...

If Archie goes to NC State then I have Gregg Marshall as my #1 choice and Chris Mack as my #2.

 

Can we just throw a bunch of money at Billy Donovan? Would love to see the UF board meltdown that would ensue.

In all honesty though ... Sean Miller, Greg Marshall, and Shaka Smart would be my top choices. Not sure if Ohio State is an upgrade from Arizona in basketball, but we have a much higher budget and direct ties to Lebron James for recruiting.

Seems like Greg Marshall might be the best and most realistic choice though.

 

I'd love to have Billy Donovan! I think he's doing a really good job in OKC though.

Sounds like we just need to stop talking about replacements because apparently Thad is not going anywhere...

Hopefully he can get it turned around...But I am not confident.

He earned a lot of leeway with that 06-07 team, but yhe program has been in a steady state of decline since.

We are looking at mediocrity as long as he stays. Hasn't shown anything on the recruiting trail, isn't developing talent once we get it, and his system is being torn apart on the court. Sometimes you just gotta part ways, and get some life into a program. We have the budget and the facilities to do that if we act now, but I fear a scUM-like fall from grace if we keep doing the same thing expecting different results.

I love Thad, but he needs to go.

Let's see if our admins have the balls to make the move.
