IN A PEACH STATE OF MIND

Ohio State's coaching staff kept itself rather busy during the spring evaluation period, giving out offers almost left and right to prospects in all corners of the country. More than a dozen of them were handed out in Georgia, though, the latest one going to Buford offensive tackle Harry Miller.

The 6-foot-4, 310-pound Miller is not yet ranked by any major recruiting sites, but he plays for one of the best high school football programs in the country and will certainly be one of the top-rated prospects in the state for the Class of 2019 as a result. He's picked up 14 offers in the last two months, including from program such as Florida, Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Virginia Tech.

    LIST SZN
With a glaring need at the position, Ohio State will look to sign as many as six players along the offensive line this recruiting cycle.

The staff already holds a commitment from West Virginia four-star Doug Nester, and took a step toward securing the pledge of another highly sought-after prospect when Buford, Georgia, four-star offensive tackle Harry Miller listed the Buckeyes in his Top 5 on Monday night alongside Clemson, Georgia, Notre Dame and Stanford.

The 6-foot-4, 310-pound Miller is considered the 11th-best offensive tackle and No. 64 prospect overall in the Class of 2019, as he was named first-team all-state after leading the Wolves to the state semifinals last season. He's been to campus twice before, including his most recent trip to Columbus the weekend of Jan. 13.

Miller plans to return to campus for the Spring Game in mid-April, and trips to Palo Alto and South Bend in the weeks leading up to that would suggest he's eyeing a decision shortly thereafter.

Miller has forged a strong relationship with head coach Urban Meyer, offensive line coach Greg Studrawa and offensive coordinator and area recruier Ryan Day, so its no surprise Ohio State made the cut. But for someone who does a lot of mission work, the Buckeyes' Athletes in Action program is a big reason why they're considered the favorite to land his pledge at this point in time.

4-star offensive lineman Harry Miller is an All-American

Buford (Ga.) offensive lineman Harry Miller, a long-time Ohio State target, has committed to participate in the Under Armour All-American Game in January 2019. Miller is ranked as the No. 11 tackle in the country, but at 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds, he’s certainly a candidate to move inside as an interior offensive lineman in college. He also checks in as the No. 63 prospect overall and No. 8 player in Georgia in Georgia.

Miller recently named Ohio State to his top-5 schools list, alongside Clemson, Georgia, Notre Dame, and Stanford. He visited Notre Dame last weekend and still has trips to Stanford and Ohio State scheduled in the spring. Check out the details on Miller’s visit plans here.
