Buckeyes offer big-time 2018 Florida wide receiver Though the Buckeyes are moving on from one of Florida’s top 2017 receivers, they’re still active and aggressive recruiting the Sunshine State for 2018. On Monday, wide receivers coach Zach Smith extended a scholarship offer to Pensacola’s Jacob Copeland. Copeland told Land of 10 he’s been hearing from Ohio State for a few months. “(Smith) followed me a while back,” Copeland said. “He said he’s been watching my highlights all the time. (Monday) he popped in unexpectedly and my coach said I should hit him up after school. I did that and we chopped it up for like 10 minutes, just speaking the basics: What I need to know, and how much he thinks I’d fit the offense. “I’m going to try to get up there this spring or summer.” The country’s 11th-ranked wide receiver in 2018, Copeland is a solid 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect from Pine Forest High School. He has 26 offers, including Florida State, Clemson, Alabama and most of the SEC.

Unreal for a mother to do that. What happened to wanting your kids to be happy and support them in their decisions. I mean he is deciding between Tennessee and Florida, he can't go wrong. She just gets up and leaves...... When mom doesn’t approve of your school choice. pic.twitter.com/sPvKBalHDT— Yahoo Sports College Football (@YahooSportsCFB) February 7, 2018
