'17 safety Isaiah Pryor checks in at 6'2, 190-pounds, and made his third visit to Columbus this past weekend with his father, per 247Sports. The five-star prospect is ranked as the second-best safety in the country, second-best player at any position from Georgia, and 27th best prospect in the nation as well. After making a trip his freshman year and later on with his family, Pryor's third trip might have helped solidify a potential fourth visit to Columbus as well. With the season approaching, Pryor mentions that he'll likely use an official visit on Ohio State as well.
Pryor holds offers from Arizona State, Auburn, Clemson, Cincinnati, Duke, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Missouri, Notre Dame, South Carolina, and Stanford among many of the other top competing schools in the country.
Pryor's current 247Sports Crystal Ball has Notre Dame as an early favorite to land a talented player such as Pryor, but there is still a chance for Ohio State to somehow sneak in, especially with Meyer on their side

    ISAIAH PRYOR DECIDING SOON?
The Buckeyes have, as noted, gotten off to a great start in 2017 and there's increasing confidence that another major target – Lawrenceville, Georgia's Isaiah Pryor – could make his college choice soon.
As you see, the Buckeyes lead the way in the prediction column for Pryor, the country's second-ranked safety in 2017. He's been to Ohio State multiple times between the spring and summer and his family has ties to the Midwest: his father was, and his brother currently is, an Iowa Hawkeye.
July could be a very good month for the Buckeyes.

Insiders think he will end up at Linebacker in the mold of Shazier and Lee...Currently 6'2" 195. Could be in the 205-215 range by the time he steps foot on campus.

    PRYOR CLOSE TO DECISION?
Yesterday evening, Scout.com reported that Isaiah Pryor, a four-star defensive back from Lawrenceville, Georgia, would make his college decision at some point next week.
We've discussed for a few weeks now that the Buckeyes feel very confident in their positioning with Pryor, the country's 2nd-ranked 2017 safety, and they believed an early commitment almost certainly meant good news for the Scarlet and Gray. Pryor has been to Ohio State three times this year and although he's from Georgia, his family has shown no reluctance to travel (his brother plays at Iowa) which has also helped the Buckeyes' cause.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound athlete will visit Texas this upcoming weekend and a decision could come at any time following that; nothing has been scheduled.
