I don't blame him, I do wish that he would have waited to withdraw from school until after the season. SO he could be on sidelines and be there with the team

I agree 100%, I think that is completely classless to leave the team. I understand him not coming back, but just his voice and tutelage would have been beneficial to our team.

We're one over the scholarship limit anyway. No sense in keeping a guy around that won't play.

I 100% disagree. These players go to school to prepare them for their ultimate dream. We are talking about the number one overall pick. I’d bet a lot of money that this was a collaborative decision amongst the Bosa family, Urban, and Larry Johnson.

This is where it is going. You will have national championship games with players withdrawing so the focus can be the NFL. It is what it is, but it is bad for college football. I wish him the best at the next level and I'm very thankful for the Bosa's and what they gave us over the years.

Yes, if said player is going to be out with an injury 2/3 of the season and projected to be the #1 overall pick. So, very very rare.

I don't agree, you can argue and say "well if he leaves he doesn't have to go to class and do that", and yeah I will give you that. Let's be honest, you know there is no where that will be better than OSU to rehab, he has limitless resources here. So, why not just rehab here, help mentor some young guys and finish the season and leave? Its not like another month and a half here is going to make him un-prepared for the draft in April or hurt his rehab.

If he were John Simon, I might be with you... but we have 6 other captains and the best D-line coach on the planet. If the d-line is missing any leadership, it's on-field, not in the training facility. His parents have money and his brother has more, so treatment won't be an issue. Instead of using Ohio State's resources, he's going to get personal trainers who will be focused on his NFL future.
