Meyer to Texas rumors?

    Fellas, hear me out. I know that the rumor circus has been going nuts with the whole Brown/Saban/Texas fiasco....but I've been hearing a few rumors going around that since Mack Brown will be stepping down, Texas might be making an offer for Meyer to be the HC.

    I've got sources within Buckeye Nation that say offers might range to 12 "MILLION" dollars. I'm worried that this news might drop sometime soon.

    I don't even know what to #believe in anymore.

    Any thoughts on possible replacements? This is a deal he might not be able to turn down.

    I'll believe this offer when I see it

    They also said Saban was gonna get 100 million over 10 years and a 1% share in the Longhorn Network

    It's an absolute pipe dream, Urban isn't going anywhere

    The whole reason I started an account with this thread was to find some hint of truth about this rumor.

    Everyone at Buckeye Planet was extremely rude and I wasn't expecting it here.

    I'm bucknut too darnit and sometimes you gotta go through the boards to get answers

    That was my first Ohio State message board and I was surprised how cliquey it was/is. I swear I would have the same opinion as the regulars and I would get criticized while they were getting praise...sometimes informative but a tricky MB to say the least.

    12 million a year to be HC, that would be hard to pass up no matter who you are, but i think he's fine here at OSU..I dont see Meyer leaving after only 2 seasons...now if they want Fickell they are more than welcome to have him
