What a cock-knocker...ya know what, screw him, I don't want him back...he can be replaced. For a guy who has been in the league for 2 years to ask for $10 MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR is unbelieveable. He wasn't even all that great. Yeah, he had his defensive tenacity but what'd he do on the offensive end besides get in LeBron's way a number of times? Hey Andy, why don't you just take what you deserve? That's what Sasha did. He's on the floor playing. He said he wanted to get back to his team and that's what he did. If you wanted to be back, Andy, you'd be back. Goodbye and good riddance!
And the quote at the end of the story says it all..."I don't think I'll be happy in Cleveland knowing that I was [almost] the lowest-paid player there for three years and am still paid much less than players on the team that I outperform." Who do you outperform that makes more than you??? C'mon! Apparently it's all about the money for this jackass!
Greedy players at it again and this won't be the last player to do this either. I agree with the fact that Anderson should feel respected and get paid, but not at the amount he's asking for. That's ridiculous in my opinion. He is not worth the $9-10M range he's looking for. I think the fair market value for him at this time would be around $5-6M a year.
I know I should feel that way. And for the most part I do. But with the way the Cavs are playing, I think I would still welcome him back. We need something? lol
There is no doubt he would help the team. But if they give in to his contract demands then he hurts the team in the long run. 5yr 32 million is a very good offer. And to throw your other teamates under the bus like that is uncalled for. How would they react if he does come back?
Well I think he was right about being more deserving then some of the guys on the team. But I am sure those guys would disagree.
I think I would still welcome him back to the team mainly because I think he's a valuable asset to this team. However, I still believe $8-10M a year is way too much and that will only hurt us in the future. Remember, Lebron will need a new contract in a few years.
