There's a chance that Boston might turn an injured Isaiah Thomas into Karl Anthony Towns... I would kill for a GM like Danny Ainge
I just read where Chris (sources) Broussard suggested that the Lakers sign LeBron and Chris Paul, then trade for Paul George in a sign and trade deal. That’d be Golden State’s worst nightmare! A PG who can check Curry. A guy who can check Durant better than anyone not named Kawhi. And the guy who averages 35/10/10 against them.
I’d love nothing more. But it wouldn’t be a smart long term decision, imo. But Laker games would be so fun to watch for the near future.
COURTING THE KING - ESPN An awesome collection of "billboards" commssioned by ESPN for every NBA teams' pitch to LeBron. My favorite is LA's:
I can read straight through this message! Since LeBron’s face is Nevada, they are saying Las Vegas is getting a team and the crown tells us it’s the Kings. The Sacramento Kings will be the Las Vegas Kings. You heard it here first
I grew up a Boston fan...………….not sure I could be come a Laker fan even if all of that happened...………..something about those colors...…...
PODCAST w/ @joevardon -- Ranking LeBron's best FA options. What can #Cavs do to be more appealing? What makes Decision 3.0 so tough? Kevin Love's trade value. New superteam in Cleveland possible? https://t.co/yq46TRtPfK— Chris Fedor (@ChrisFedor) June 14, 2018
WOJ on LeBron: “I think the Lakers are the clearest, simplest path because they have the space to sign him, and they have the availability in LA to create a second max slot without having to do much.” (via ESPN) pic.twitter.com/Xbgduqyi1B— Legion Hoops (@LegionHoops) June 12, 2018
Not gonna lie ... Lebron in a Lakers jersey looks pretty good! I just moved to LA at the beginning of last year, so I wouldn't be upset with this. That being said, I hope he stays in Cleveland for legacy purposes. If he could snag another 2+ titles with Cleveland, there's no doubt he'd be at the top of any GOAT convo.
#LABuckeye If Cleveland can't make moves to make this team more balanced offensively, I'm happy to see LeBron leave. I'm done watching the LeBron drive-and-kick offense
lots of smoke, and either it’s media generated, someone came here and read my post, or there’s a baby fire. But the talk of LeBron, Paul George, and Kawhi all teaming up in LA is getting hot. Again, it could just be people needing something to talk about.

haha only been here 6 months, and I still have my places in NY and Europe. So I wouldn't go that far. It's been nearly a decade since I've been in AZ though. Maybe I'm due for a little name change ... Wonder if Buck68 is available ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Reading these reports that the Cavs are going after Kemba Walker tells me that if LeBron comes back, Kevin Love will not be on the roster. To me, trying to get Kemba and Kawhi is a move to match up with Golden State. Love is obviously a liability defensively. I like the idea. Kemba and Kawhi make you a much better team offensively and defensively.
I'd hate to see Love go. The Hornets have several pieces that I like that could package with Kemba. Even Dwight and his big contract. I was hoping they would work with Charlotte at the trade deadline. Kemba was available then too
I also just saw where ESPN has as “a trade we’d like to see” that would send Love, JR, and the 8th pick to Washington for Beal, Gortat, and the 15th pick. What are your thoughts on that one? My problem with that is it definitely takes any trade for Kawhi off the table.
