He's sitting at 9th in Usage Rate in the league this season -- which is where he finished last season. If Gordon Hayward didn't destroy his ankle out the gate, Kyrie would've seen the ball less this season than last season with Cleveland. But I don't think his issues with being "the man" really had anything to do with what was happening on the court.
Thanks to Kyrie for hitting the shot......... BUT Let's admit Kyrie is injury prone and just a little bit weird as far as personality............. He has quickly found out it is harder without arguebly the best player ever.........
I still wish we could've figured out a way to trade Kyrie for Mike Conley. I don't think it could've happened due to cap reasons, but I still maintain that Conley is the best PG in the league pound for pound.
Sounds like a complete BS excuse. You schedule minor nasal surgery on the day of game 7? Danny Ainge said Kyrie Irving had minor nasal surgery and that’s why he was not at Game 7.— Chris Forsberg (@ChrisForsberg_) May 28, 2018

Kyrie Irving not considering an extension. "Contractually, financially, it just doesn’t make any sense.”Kyrie ready for the daily barrage of future question but said focus is on 18-19 season. Kyrie: Signing extension this summer doesn't make financial sense https://t.co/Zu6npgUzbQ— Patrick O'Brien (@POBScout) June 12, 2018
Boston needs to shop him, and cash in asap. They can compete without him and get more pieces. I predict Kyrie never makes it back to finals
If I was Kyrie's agent, I wouldn't be so eager for him to play on just a one year deal. The guy has only played more than 60 games 2 of his 7 seasons. You don't get healthier as you age. If he has another unhealthy season, his 2019 prospects may not be great. I think he's a great player, but I don't think he can operate like LeBron and just go year-to-year and pick any team he wants.
"There are no better coaches than Brad Stevens. The Celtics have draft picks, depth... they've got everything. They have no egos, promising young stars and you want out of that?"@ColinCowherd reacts to rumors Kyrie Irving is looking at the Knicks pic.twitter.com/TIj1ndAJVd— Herd w/Colin Cowherd (@TheHerd) July 5, 2018
Pardon my French, but Fuck Kyrie. He's nothing without Lebon http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...y-never-wanted-lebron-james-back-in-cleveland
Kyrie is a weird dude...……. Goes from playing with the best player of his generation, winning a title, threatens to sit out the season to force a trade and goes to Boston who has a great coach, great young players, a boatload of draft picks and it seems he is still not comfortable in that situation...……
"Pre-LeBron: Can't stay healthy, diva/flake and doesn't elevate the team. Post-LeBron: Celtics get to Game 7 of the ECF without him, doesn't show up for Game 7 and he's hurt again."@ColinCowherd presents the facts about Kyrie Irving pic.twitter.com/Ub30Co9z3F— Herd w/Colin Cowherd (@TheHerd) July 9, 2018
With everything that happened in the spring & then Uncle Drew movie, I’m not sure it was completely understood just what Kyrie Irving went through fighting off a serious infection. @NotoriousOHM got the story today: https://t.co/H36SQa9efz— Brian Windhorst (@WindhorstESPN) July 27, 2018
Wearing an eagle feather in his hair and wrapped in a traditional blanket Kyrie Irving was given the Lakota name "Little Mountain" in an emotional naming ceremony today in North Dakota: https://t.co/VBUov4tGRc— Brian Windhorst (@WindhorstESPN) August 23, 2018
