Funny that Kyrie averaged more points, assists, and shot attempts last year when he “wasn’t the man”

He's sitting at 9th in Usage Rate in the league this season -- which is where he finished last season. If Gordon Hayward didn't destroy his ankle out the gate, Kyrie would've seen the ball less this season than last season with Cleveland.

But I don't think his issues with being "the man" really had anything to do with what was happening on the court.

Thanks to Kyrie for hitting the shot.........

    BUT

Let's admit Kyrie is injury prone and just a little bit weird as far as personality.............

He has quickly found out it is harder without arguebly the best player ever.........

I still wish we could've figured out a way to trade Kyrie for Mike Conley. I don't think it could've happened due to cap reasons, but I still maintain that Conley is the best PG in the league pound for pound.

Sounds like a complete BS excuse. You schedule minor nasal surgery on the day of game 7?

I think l they need to figure out a deal to move him and get Karl-Anthony Towns.

Boston needs to shop him, and cash in asap. They can compete without him and get more pieces.

I predict Kyrie never makes it back to finals

If I was Kyrie's agent, I wouldn't be so eager for him to play on just a one year deal. The guy has only played more than 60 games 2 of his 7 seasons. You don't get healthier as you age. If he has another unhealthy season, his 2019 prospects may not be great.

I think he's a great player, but I don't think he can operate like LeBron and just go year-to-year and pick any team he wants.

Similar to Derrick Rose going from a 20 million dollar salary to a 2.5 million

    Kyrie is a weird dude...…….

Goes from playing with the best player of his generation, winning a title, threatens to sit out the season to force a trade and goes to Boston who has a great coach, great young players, a boatload of draft picks and it seems he is still not comfortable in that situation...……
